What's the backlash?

One of the most controversial topics flooding news servers everyday regards President Trump's travel reform. Many may argue this has been put in place to reinsure the safety of the average American, while others may simply view this policy as being racist or unjust. Recent terrorist outcries can be blamed but it's obvious that almost no one from these six counties are to blame. So the question becomes what is the backlash going to have on America and the other six counties involved?
Protests, lots of them. Thousands of people have voiced their concerns from the US to the UK and so on. Vocal crowds have formed anywhere from JFK airport to college campuses. Families from these counties can no longer see their children in America. President Trump included the attacks of 9/11 as a defence, but none of the 19 hijackers came from these six countries. Some have felt this list has come out of the personal interest of President Trump, not including countries like Saudi Arabia - where business growth may easily be a question.

Critics such as John McCain believe this ban will only feed ISIS and help aid recruitment. The Syrian Civil War has already killed about 400,000 civilians and the number only increases everyday. Additionally, the US refugee program has been issued an 120 day suspension. The US will not accept more than 50,000 refugees a year, decreasing the 110,000 cap from the Obama administration.
