The Great Migration According to Donald Trump

https://www.wsj.com/

Throughout his campaign Donald Trump vowed to “drain the swamp” and shake up Washington, and now President Trump finally has the chance. One of his key talking points was his goal of lowering corporate tax in America. Right now our corporate tax rate is currently 35% at the federal level. This is because many corporations are moving overseas for tax benefits and they can manufacture products for less. With little incentives to stay in the United States, many more corporations are leaving the United States to work cheaper and more efficiently. As Donald Trump said “we’re trying to get it down to anywhere from 15 to 20 percent. (The Atlantic)” Along with this Trump says “When you have a company here, you have a plant here, (The Atlantic).
When Trump says he wants to decrease corporate tax, he also wants many corporations to manufacture goods in the United States. To incentivise this Trump claims he will create a larger border tax to pressure companies to manufacture goods in the United States. In the future, a decrease in corporate tax and increase in border tax can bring more companies back to the United States, and create many more jobs for people to lower unemployment to create a more stable economy. This source is reliable because The Atlantic is a credible newspaper that many people can get reliable information from. Donald Trump explains HOW he will change corporate tax rates in the United States, but how long will it be until he actually puts his plans into place?

  1. You did a good job providing statistics from a reliable source to your blog post, adding much better credibility to what you are saying. I think you should work on better formatting how you tell the information to the reader. The post is very jumbled together, and you could work on structuring your writing better.
